7 thoughts on “Local Endorsements for Teddy Milner for Mayor of Aiken”

  1. I have looked everywhere for a biography on Teddy Milner and cannot find one. Age, husband, children, college attended. It has been reported that she recently switched from democrat to Republican.
    Can anyone answer these questions?

  2. I support Teddy! Our current leadership seems more interested in supporting a handful of attorneys and their business partners who are basically trying to take over the city and stretching and spreading into the county as well, all for the almighty dollar…greed at its finest with total disregard for the long-term health and vitality of our city!
It’s time to reclaim our beloved city of Aiken and protect her with a new mayor!

  3. Today, the Standard had a list of some of those supporting Osbon and Teddy. As I recall everyone on the list supporting Osbon was a politician. No politicians were listed as supporting Teddy. Good enough for me. Tomorrow I will vote early for Teddy. Osbon needs to go back to folding laundry.

  4. “Now is the time for all good voters to come to the aid of their city!”

    Bonus: Here is related trivia:

“Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.” – Charles E. Weller (Found in Weller’s 1918 book “The Early History of the Typewriter”

The original quote ended ‘come to the aid of their party’. Charles E. Weller was a teacher, a typing teacher. He changed the quote to end ‘come to the aid of their country’. It turns out that his change with the period made the sentence exactly 70 characters long, which was the entire length of one complete line on a typewriter. Those of you who took typing in school might be familiar with this quote.

  5. Teddy is a breath of fresh air in Aiken. We all have experienced the current events for which the current mayor is responsible.
It is the civic duty of all Aiken residents to vote for transparency!
